Beat Schlatter, one of Switzerland‘s best-known cabaret artists and actors, is a passionate postcard collector. He has been collecting picture postcards for decades. The majority of the colorful cards date from between the 1960s and 1980s, the pinnacle of European tourism. Schlatter has selected more than four hundred postcards from his extensive collection, ordering them in twelve pictorial chapters: beach promenades, hotels, gardens and fountains, cityscapes by night, Alpine winter scenes.
